Importance of Immersive Experiences

Why Immersive Experiences Matter

Think back to last Wednesday for me or the Wednesday before that or any of the week days this past month for that matter. Can you recall anything fun that you did? Any experience that you had? I can’t and I’ll tell you why- Adults are lonelier, more stressed, and more routine-bound than ever—and our brains are suffering for it. Immersive experiences solve that- They rebuild social connection, spark curiosity, incorporate novelty, improve wellbeing, activate the brain, and create memories that last — scientifically, emotionally, and socially.

That’s why, this year, we are committed to bringing you at least 27 new programs to join in on! Because life shouldn’t only feel exciting twice a year and adults deserve fun programs too.

So…what does this mean?

Adults need wonder. They need adventure. They need connection. They need lived experiences! There are countless programs out there for your physical health, mental health but what about the over health of your soul

This is why we build programs that bring immersive experiences back into everyday life.

The Mini Bucket List

Shoot us an email, send us a DM or hit our contact button to share your ideas for a chance for them to be featured in an upcoming program!

This first program is to encourage you to begin adding these immersive experiences back into your life in small ways. What better way to do that, than to create a mini bucket list! Nothing crazy, no big dreams. Just the things that you’ve been adding to your to do later list that you haven’t gotten around to- Trying that new restaurant, taking that new class, calling your old friend.

Here’s how you’ll do it

  1. Create a Daily Post Wall (somewhere you will see every day- this could be digitally, physically or both)

    1. We’ve included a digital template here. Make it your phone’s background!

  2. Write down at least 10 small experiences that you wish to pursue. This could be over the course of a month, a few months, a year.

    1. We’ve included a list of 27 ideas below

  3. Each time you pursue one of those experiences, cover the post it note with a photo, memento, journal entry- some kind of documentation to check off that you did it

  4. The creative challenge: Build a out an experience bucket list book

  5. Once you’ve completed the program, create a little memento journal or page with all of the photos, items, thoughts and representations of the experiences you’ve collected!

  6. Sign up for our mini bucket list program here and we’ll send you a randomly generated prompt each day to spark your creativity!
